Coordinated Care for Children with Complex Medical Needs
Unicare supports children with complex respiratory and medical needs through a highly coordinated model of care at home. We work closely with physicians, case managers, and families to manage equipment, supplies, caregiver education, and the transition from hospital to home—helping create a safer, smoother, and more confident care experience for everyone involved.

Advanced Non-Invasive Support for Breathing at Home
For pediatric patients who need respiratory support without a tracheostomy, Unicare provides advanced non-invasive ventilation tailored to each child’s needs. Our team delivers and sets up equipment, coordinates with the clinical team, and trains caregivers on safe daily use of therapies such as CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen, nebulizers, airway clearance, and monitoring—so families feel supported long after discharge.

Equipment and Services
Many children with complex medical needs require respiratory support to breathe comfortably and safely at home. Unicare provides a full range of respiratory equipment, including oxygen, nebulizers, suction equipment, airway clearance devices, and monitoring equipment. Our respiratory therapists coordinate with your child’s care team, deliver and set up equipment in the home, and provide hands-on training so families feel confident managing care each day.
For children who require more advanced respiratory support, Unicare provides both invasive and non-invasive ventilator programs. Our team works closely with hospital staff and physicians to coordinate discharge, set up equipment in the home, and train caregivers on ventilator use and safety. We also provide ongoing follow-up and support to help families manage complex care at home with confidence.
We provide home medical equipment to help children remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home. This may include hospital beds, positioning equipment, mobility equipment, and safety equipment. Our team handles delivery, setup, and training so caregivers understand how to use equipment properly and safely.
Children with complex medical needs often require ongoing supplies and nutritional support. Unicare provides respiratory supplies, tracheostomy supplies, feeding supplies, wound care supplies, and enteral nutrition formula and equipment. Our supply management program helps ensure families receive the supplies they need on time each month, without the stress of managing orders on their own.
